Japanese SakeSelf sampling procedure

①お皿の上に「おちょこ」をひとつ取る。

Take one of the “ochoko” (lit. small sake glass) and place it on one of the small plates presented to you

②お好きなお酒の瓶を席まで持って行く。

​

Take a sake you want to try from the coolers and bring it back to the table

​

​

③「おちょこ」からこぼれないようにゆっく～り注ぐ。

​

Pour it slowly so that it doesn’t overflow

​

​

④飲み干したら新しい「おちょこ」と交換！

　使った「おちょこ」はそのままテーブルの上へ

 

Once you have drank all the sake in the glass, take a new glass from the basket. Place the used glass to the side as it is

⑤最後に使った「おちょこ」の数でお勘定！

 

We will count up the used glasses at the end as we calculate the bill. 

No matter the sake, every glass is 100 yen(tax included)
